Preparing For The TS SSC Board Exams 2020

Every student has to prepare very diligently for the TS SSC Exams 2020. They are required to appear for both written as well as internal exams. While preparing for these exams the students must take note of what the following rules and regulations:

• Every subject is divided into two parts – written paper marks and internal marks. Out of a total of one hundred marks, 80 marks are reserved for the written paper and 20 marks are given via internal assessment. In order to pass a particular subject, the student has to score a minimum of 35% out of 100.
• Subjects have two papers that are further divided into 40 marks each for the written test. The internal marks remain the same. The SSC subjects which have two papers include English, Mathematics, General Science and Social Studies along with the main language and first language papers.
• The nature of questions that are asked in the exams varies from being analytic, descriptive or open-ended. Hence it is important that the students should prepare for all such types of questions. This type of questioning is intended to promote the students thinking and subsequent writing abilities. 
• Students should take note that only one subject exam is conducted every day and that the exam is conducted as per the schedule declared by the Telangana Secondary Board of Education.
• In addition to the above, the candidates are expected to appear for the examination at the centers which have been allotted to them.

About Telangana Board Of Secondary Education

The Directorate of Government Examinations which is popularly referred to as the Telangana Board of Secondary Education (TSBSE). The TSBSE was formed in the month of June 2014. This was after the division of Andhra Pradesh into two states and the formation of Telangana state. TSBSE controls and maintains all the different TS examinations at both the intermediate and senior secondary levels. The major examinations include SSC and OSSC which are conducted twice a year.

These exams have registration of about 12.15 lakh candidates for the annual (ie. exams conducted in March) examinations and more than 3.34 lakh candidates for advanced supplementary examinations (ie. exams conducted in May / June). The Telangana Secondary Education Board offers its affiliation to various Telangana state government schools, public schools, private schools and colleges within the state. The TS SSC Examination is conducted in the month of March every year.
